Danero (white dry – blanc de noir)
Danero means "from black" in Esperanto. A Blanc de Noir produced from the
autochthonous red grape variety Mavro, grown in the old, steep slope vineyards of
Laxia, near Farmakas. We have used only wild yeasts during fermentation and the
wine went through battonage to gain complexity and volume. A unique wine, which
gives another perspective to this dynamic variety.
Danero was bottled unfined and mildly filtered. Thus it may develop natural
sediment during its evolution, a sign that the wine is "alive"
Erroa (rose dry)
The roots of the red variety Mavro run deep and long in the steep slope vineyards of
Laxia, near Farmakas. As a tribute to its origin, we named our rose wine Erroa,
which means "root" in the ancient Basque. 100% from Mavro, Erroa is fermented
solely with indigenous yeasts and is partly matured in oak barrel. A distinctive rose,
with strong character, rich flavor and long aftertaste.
Erroa was bottled unfined and mildly filtered. Thus it may develop natural sediment
during its evolution, a sign that the wine is "alive".
